I sure do love these boys! We started our Christmas on Friday, December 23rd. Santa came early since we would be at church on Sunday morning.
Hays got a basketball hoop... and he LOVED it. He probably shot 100 baskets that morning. He loved it so much that he didn't even take a time-out for his bottle.
We didn't want to overindulge Hays with Christmas gifts. We got him his hoop, a travel magna doodle, a new book, and Christmas pajamas. It was perfect. He wasn't overwhelmed and he loved playing with his new toys. He actually didn't enjoy opening gifts. Crazy kid.
Oh! I also got him play dough for his stocking.... he HATED it.
Friday afternoon we packed up the car and headed to the lake to be with my family for Christmas Eve.
This year was extra special. My 94 year old Grandma is living at my parent's house. She got to take in all of the festivities from her comfy chair.
In my immediate family we have 16 family members. Next year it will be 17. I can't imagine what it will be like once my neices and nephews start getting married. 
Ellie got a guitar for Christmas. She opened it and said "I've waited for this my whole life!" I think this picture of her is so sweet. 
Hays 2nd favorite gift of the year was his rock band Elmo. (Remember his favorite was the hoop) He loves to dance with Elmo. It is very cute.

This may be the first picture taken of all my parents grandkids. Dallas, Ellie, Sophie, Hays, Bear, Bo, Jackson, and Cooper. 
We left the lake to drive home on Christmas Eve. Sunday morning we woke up and went to church. We spent the morning working in the nursery.
Christmas Day we opened gifts and had lunch with Frank's family. I'm so mad because I didn't take my camera. Hays got the CUTEST motorized 4-wheeler that is just his size. I will put video of him driving it, because he is hilarious. There is NO steering abilities at 18 months.
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. And that you were able to slow down and it enjoy it and remember The Reason for the season.
